Need Remedies for Pockets of Trapped Intestinal Gas and Vertigo

Posted By Beryl (Uk) on 03/23/2016

Many years ago I gave birth to two babies by caesarean section, and afterwards clearly remember feeling sick and dizzy with trapped internal gas, and would have to stretch and bend to relieve it. And sometimes it would take half an hour before I felt OK. So there's always been problems there. However, as the years passed I suffered with an ear infection which left me with balance problems, and these have recently got worse. I find that if I have something to eat late at night, the next morning I wake up with a type of vertigo and have to sit on the edge of the bed to orientate myself and then cling onto walls for the first few steps.

Sometimes the vertigo and unsteadiness last all day. The doctor has on occasion prescribed Lansoprazole, which I will take only when the symptoms are really bad.

Pepper tea, slipper elm, etc do not help at all. I'd be grateful for any helpful suggestions.

I know I shouldn't eat late, but sometimes hunger kicks in and I feel the need to eat.
