I pray someone is researching on your post subject even now. I too was wanting to see their thoughts. In the mean while I will share with you what I learned from helping my uncle and my own eye experiences to :
My uncle was diabetic, he had eye surgery and sometime later he left out of the house seeing and about a block before he got home he went suddenly completely blind. The next day he went back to the ENT, they said the blood had dried up in the back of his eyes. The good news is that they cleaned the back of his eyes and his sight was restored. It was not as clear as he wanted; however, once again he could come and go as he pleased.
He was also dealing with dry mouth and because of that he liked to chew gum. He loved Juices because they helped when his blood sugar dropped. He needed these things but still they slowed down the healing process.
I noticed that whenever I cut down on sugars and extra blood thinners for a couple of weeks my vision is clearer.
Praying for you,
HisJewel

I don't worry about the messiness of natural remedies, particularly when they're needed, but a lot of people do. It cleans up so easily and worry is ANTI-healthy so I'm just not going to do it. And, to be honest, I make a lot LESS mess when I'm not worried about it. Charcoal, ClO2, diatomaceous earth, DMSO, cayenne and even urine - these are things that can stop a heart attack, attract, trap or even destroy killer bacteria, mold, viruses and toxins, save organs, a limb, a life and reverse the effects of stroke! Who cares if it makes a mess? Not me...
Anyway, I'd use charcoal for 2 reasons - it can resolve most things all by itself AND, where there's swelling, there is almost certainly going to be inflammation or infection and it will eliminate that. Oh, and 3, it just instantly feels better and when one feels better, the body doesn't have to navigate around you so much to do what needs doing. And charcoal is great because anything in the body that the body doesn't want, it can simply push it out and into the charcoal.
