Nerve Pain in Lower Lip and on Chin After Injury, Please Suggest Remedies

Posted By Deegee (Vermont) on 09/17/2018

I had an injury two months ago where I fell and landed on the left side of my face. Fortunately for me I did not break my jaw, though ended up with stitches all over the inside of my lower lip and a concussion, not to mention quite the colorful array of black & blue bruises which was just lovely.

My concern is that after two months I have what I can only guess is some kind of nerve damage cuz I have weird shooting pains in my lower lip and below on my chin...feels like little electric shocks, kind of like you get with a TENS machine, not painful but freaky and it's a very strange sensation.

I'm wondering if there is anything that I could be applying/taking that may help with nerve pain or even something that may encourage nerve regeneration.

Thank you for any help you can give.

I would watch john bergman on youtube and see what part of the neck might cause lack of circulation to that area of your face and try to heal it. I suspect my neck is the culprit behind dental dramas.
