Need Remedy for Ocular HerpesPosted By KD (Washington State) on 03/18/2021
I caught Ocular Herpes from a doorknob (touched the doorknob and inadvertently touched my nose). Have been battling it for months. Waking up looking like Swamp monster with swollen, eyes which are oozed shut. Have severe chemical sensitivities, so the toxic meds are not an option.
Whole kitchen looks like a mad scientist lab, with herbal solutions. Afraid of going blind. Any and all help greatly appreciated! Thank you!

But, my go to for this is colloidal silver using a dropper bottle. I find it very gentle to take and can be take quite frequently. Further, research has shown that it actually accelerates healing.
MMS made by the shot glass method can also be used. Made the regular way is away too harsh. MMS drops though simply sterilize the area and quickly turns to salt. MMS is not as comfortable as colloidal silver drops. Further, the colloidal silver remains in the eye continuing to promote healing.
I hope this information is of help to you.

Combine Ted’s remedies for herpes here on earthclinic and also go to medicalmedium.com and learn the anti-viral foods, supplements, and what you cannot eat (You want to starve the virus) or drink while you are killing the virus (there are 60 herpes viruses out there). Start with getting a juicer (Anthony William likes the Omega 900) to take the FRESH celery (cut leaves off and clean stalks, put in juicer and immediately drink if you can but no longer than 24 hours these salts die longer than that), 16 oz on empty stomach daily, it has these mineral salts that lasts only 24 hours so in order to kill the viruses/toxins/etc. it has to be fresh, he has a whole list of these you need to incorporate like lysine, licorice root, olive leaf, dulce, on and on and on. He really wants you on the celery juice for life but do it at least a couple years, you can have a bug bite you that carries the virus so you are always at risk of getting anything. He pushes his books to heal but you can get the info and get answers from his blog, watch some of his YouTube videos, TicToc, Instagram, Apple podcasts. He lists on Amazon all his supplements but just get them wherever you are: google: medicalmedium cure for herpes. It is hard work but worth it not to go blind...longer you have it, it spreads through your body getting horrible arthritis, other diseases so try and try and try!

Works EXCELLENTLY!!!!
and for topical use(on the actual skin), I use Aloe Vera on it. Can get a spray or gel.
Good luck.

First thing, Boric acid at low-dosage is the only acid that is not harmful to human eyes. OTC Eye washes that contain boric acid are used to wash, clean, and ease irritated eyes. Aqueous (water) solution of boric acid is also effective for eye infections, pinkeye (inflammation of the conjunctiva of the eye) and discharges from the eyes.
Boric acid has anti-viral activity and has been shown to shorten the duration of cold sores. https://wa.kaiserpermanente.org/kbase/topic.jhtml?docId=hn-2812003
Boric Acid Eyewash, can be used to rinse the eyes to help relieve the discomfort of pink eye or viral eye infections. It can be applied on cotton balls and used as a compress for the affected eye to help relieve discomfort (I would use homemade BA eye drops also). Boric acid occurs naturally in many fruits, vegetables, and other plants. https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/neuroscience/keratitis
Boric acid has been used as a folk remedy for eye issues, including but not limited to:
- foreign objects or materials in the eye, such as debris in the air or chlorinated water
- eye allergies
- dry eyes
- conjunctivitis
- infections due to bacteria, viruses, or fungi
Many eye washes containing boric acid are available as over-the-counter products. However, it has been said to make your own boric acid eye solution fresh daily for it’s potency.
Recipe for BA eye drops for putting in the eye:
Mix 1/8 tsp. of USP grade boric acid powder into 1 cup heated sterilized water. Allow the water to cool. Apply with eye dropper 4 times daily. (I add ½ tsp sea salt to the mix to buffer the distilled water)
Recipe for BA eye wash:
Mix 1 tsp. of USP grade boric acid into 1 cup heated sterilized water. Allow the water to cool. Apply with eye dropper 4 times daily. (Again, I add ½ tsp sea salt to the mix to buffer the distilled water)
Good luck

Lysine, BHT, vitamin C, vitamin A, echinacea, golden seal, vitamin D, melatonin.
The list goes on and can be confusing but this is as most things are when dealing with natural healing. The bottom line is to find out what works for you, we are all as unique in our internal physiologic makeup as we are in our external physical appearances. Support your internal immune system, try some of the external applications such as castor oil or colloidal silver and remain determined to find a resolution. The truth is that all who remain resolute will find a resolution.

I'm going to make the boric acid solution for my son's pink eye. I was wondering what the difference is between the two instructions you posted. They both are the same except one uses 1/8th teaspoon boric acod and the other uses 1 teaspoon boric acid. Are they used differently in some way?
Thank you!

Hi Madelyn,Most drug stores and Amazon sell a ready-made boric acid solution for eyes in dropper bottles.

@ Madelyn1/8 tsp makes a weaker solution
1 teaspoon makes a much stronger solution
I would start with the weaker solution and increase to tolerance.

I didn’t know that! Thanks for the heads up, Art :)I ended up buying some USP grade pure boric acid in capsules. I emptied out a few capsules and added it to boiled, distilled water. My son’s eyes look better after only using the drops 2 times. I used lots of drops in each eye. He didn’t complain :)

Hi Madelyn,I use the store bought BA drops for eye issues because it is very convenient. I use bulk BA to make a significantly stronger mix for skin application via a spray bottle. BA is a potent antimicrobial so it has a myriad of uses on the skin. It is useful for fungal infections and they have it in vaginal suppositories for feminine hygiene issues. I have also found that it can have a modest ear wax softening effect. It is inexpensive and useful.

Hello Art!I made some more boric acid solution to keep on hand for skin applications. I put about 1/2 teaspoon of boric acid powder in 8 ounces of water. It might have been less water due to evaporation during boiling / cool down. I was wondering what you thought was a good concentration of boric acid to use on the skin. Thanks!

Hey Art!I had never considered using it on the skin, but it’s a great idea. I actually ordered the capsules that were sold for the purpose of vaginal suppositories because it said they contained only USP boric acid powder. I think I’ll go ahead and make up a spray bottle to have on hand. A couple of my kids are prone to ear wax build up so I’m glad you’ve shared that tip too. My son’s pink eye has almost completely resolved within 24 hours. Good stuff!

Hi Madelyn,I don't know if it is right or not, but I have always used one level full measuring teaspoon of BA in 4 ounces of water and I make 16 ounces at a time. I use this bottle to refill my smaller spray bottle which is small enough to be easy to handle when wet. I believe that this solution is very close to a saturated solution as when the water is colder, all of the BA may not dissolve. to make sure it all dissolves and doesn't clog the sprayer, it will be fine and effective to use one tablespoon of BA for every 16 ounces of water.
