Need Help W/ Post-menopausal Bleeding After Taking Supplements

Posted By Susan (Indianapolis, Indiana) on 08/13/2011

Ted,

I've developed a vaginal bleeding issue while fighting a yeast infection. I used the Acidophius and niacinamide (along with ACV, folic acid, and vit E) treatment and it seem to completely alleviate my symptoms. Except for the bleeding, I am experiencing none of the yeast infection symptoms. The bleeding started sometime after the treatment began. I am post-menopausal and haven't had a period for two years. The bleeding is similar to a normal light period day and it has lasted for two weeks now. I am not sure if any of the supplements can cause bleeding but I am continuing the treatments assuming that I might have BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) although I have none of its symptoms.

Can you give me some idea as to the cause and treatment of this type bleeding?

Thanks, Susan

Hi. I just wanted to tell you what worked for me to stop menorrhagia... I think that's what it's called.... Excessive bleeding. Whatever it's called what finally stopped it for me after twenty days was the herb Shepherd's Purse. The doctor, the hospital.... Noone could fix it. But God used that herb. It stopped almost completely within a day. After three days it was done and I needed to recover from some other things. READ about the herb... It has potential side effects. I read up on it and used it carefully. I bought the tincture and made tea. I sipped the tea... Usually a half cup made the bleeding go way down. I had 3-5 HALF cups of tea a day for several days. What a blessing!!!!! Nothing else worked for me. I hope you're feeling better. Check out Chasteberry and the algae bladderwrack as possible helps. Blessings, Ali :0)
