Need help and treatment for multiple ailments

Dear Ted and Thank you to everyone for Earth Clinic. What a wonderful site. Instead of the hate that has covered the earth, folk here have become a family, sharing their concerns and ideas for the health of people they don't know and may not ever meet. There is hope for the human race. May God bless all the good people who make positive input on this site.

I am 57 and weigh 70kg. From 1987, I have lived a most stressful life: I have been involved in 3 car crashes with coma each & 1 left femur fracture; lost all my 4 children after long & frequent hospitalizations. My husband has remarried. Before all these I was a healthy person except for the occasional cough.

Presently, I have these challenges: Diabetes: fasting blood glucose 86, 124mg/dl in the last 3 months with most readings under 100mg/dl. Indigestion - I have suffered indigestion since I was 12, but it got worse from Oct. 2011. It takes up to 8 - 9 hrs to digest food so I eat lunch as my last meal. Bloating (even when I have not taken an offending or no food gas fills my intestines). I am weak, tired and sleepy all the time (I sleep 8-10 hrs most nights and still not feel rested). My Doc. has no problem with this, but I think that is too much sleep. My vision & hearing are greatly diminished. I am apathetic, have brain fog, lack concentration and forgetful. For 10 months now, my joints creak. I take a daily diabetic vitamin pact (I am not sure I absorb much of it) & drink water first thing in the morning. For the gas, my Doctor scheduled a surgery in April 2012 to make a physical diagnosis of my organs (when a scan and Xray did not explain the gas in my intestines). A friend advised me against it and asked me to read Dr. D'Adamo's book. I have removed offending foods & go out regularly for a walk. It has helped much with the gas, but I am still not out of the woods as you can see.

I want to use nature's remedies, but I don't know enough to sensibly combine these remedies to avoid contraindications and overloading my kidneys. Can you and your readers make some suggestions please?

From the contributions here, coconut oil is helpful with many ailments including diabetes and dementia, but the Blood Group diet lists it as 'avoid' for group A. Has any A used it for a reasonable time with good results? Thanks.

Dear Caroline,

You asked if anyone with Blood Type A had success with Coconut Oil. I am Blood Type A and have been using Extra Virgin Coconut Oil for several years with only good results.

I understand your desire to combine remedies sensibly to avoid interactions! Chemistry is not my strength, so I will leave that to those on this forum who have much skill in that area.

I will say that Raw Apple Cider Vinegar may be something that would be helpful to you. It has helped many with several of the concerns you have (diabetes, joint problems, kidney disease, digestive problems.) You could try taking a teaspoon in 8 ounces of water a couple of times a day. If that suits, increase to 2-3 teaspoons in a glass of water a couple of times a day.

You have had long and frequent hospitalizations, likely with lots of strong medications. You may want to look into detoxing here at Earth Clinic. Castor Oil Packs would be something you could try that would be used externally and you wouldn't have to worry about internal reactions.

This is a place to start, and hopefully others will have more ideas for you.

Good for you for walking and improving your diet. I can tell that you are making positive choices for your health, in spite of monumental challenges. Please keep us posted on your progress!

C: Do not get discouraged and you can make slow but sure progress in time by doing some detox and cleanses.

For immediate relief, start w/ hot mineral baths (whole body baths if you have a tub, if not take foot baths) w/ 1/4 cup Baking Soda + 1/4 cup Borax + 1/4 cup Epsom Salts. Whole body baths once or twice per week, and foot baths once daily. These baths are good for detoxing as well as alkalizing the body.

All the digestive issues are clear symptoms of parasites which are common for children and adults, especially people w/ pets like cats or dogs. Here is a link for help https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/parasites.html

In addition to para, you will likely have secondary candida or fungal infection. Many herbs which are effective for para are also effective for fungal or bacterial infection. Herbs like Oregano, Garlic, Olive Leaf, Neem Leaf, to-mention-a-few in this category. There are other herbs like Clove, Black Walnut Hulls, Wormwood, Myrrh, and Quassia Bark specifically for para. You may find an herbalist or natural foods store that has local harvested herbs for para cleansing.

Using a Zapper in combination w/ the herbs will be for best results.

Come back here for further help, and let us know your progress.
