I have tried msm, turmeric, glucosamine. Have ordered Cordyceps to try next. I am a 69 yr old female and have always been active doing manual labor. Did a lot of construction work this summer.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would be trying castor oil packs on the lower back. And Epsom salt baths if a bath is comfortable for you.
Some seem to find borax helps with joint problems.
I wonder if a physical therapist could help you get some gentle exercises that would help strengthen muscles that support the back to reduce the stress to the discs?
Also, rest for the back as much as you can.
I hope you feel better soon!

I take 2 capsules of turmeric twice daily with a sprinkle of black pepper in about a teaspoon of coconut oil to assimilate the turmeric better. It really helps my lower back pain.
