Eyes Flashing After Colonoscopy Prep, What Remedies Can Stop It?

Posted By Gert (Nm) on 01/19/2017

I had cataract surgery on both eyes 2 years ago. My eyes flashed for several months after and gradually that stopped. 2 weeks ago, I had to do the prep for an upper & lower endoscopy. During the prep, my eyes started the flashing thing again. I figured electrolytes, so increased my magnesium and potassium and started drinking v8 juice (has lots of good stuff in there). They're still doing it, so annoying at work, is there anything else I can do?

Hello,

I had the same flashing eyes after 2 months with Lyme (or some tick-borne illness.) I determined that it was optical nerve damage. I think Methylene Blue helped and now I'm following EONutrition (youtube channel) for b1 supplementation. Anything that addresses the sensitive nerve cells would help.

Interesting. I've been having light flashes for 1-1/5 years. Ophthalmologist said all is well. Saw an ENT who said they're ocular migraines. I think I'll try the MBlue. Getting old is for the birds, as my Dad used to say. But better than the alternative.
