It could very well be a reaction to something in her environment. Try giving her a wash-down---arms, chest, legs --using Epsom salts, which is magnesium sulfate. Or, try a form of magnesium internally, such as 100 or 200 milligrams of magnesium citrate. Magnesium calms external agents that trigger bodily reactions. She may be allergic to something --being bit by a critter -- and I'll add that common Benedril is very effective at calming those sorts of reactions.Replied by Mama To Many (Tn) on 11/08/2017
My first thought is vitamin C therapy with high doses of ascorbic acid. It works for allergic reactions, toxins and infections.

Oops! Sorry - I meant high doses of sodium ascorbate.
You can use ascorbic acid powder to make sodium ascorbate.
I mix 1/4 teaspoon ascorbic acid with 1/8 teaspoon baking soda. This gives a dose of about 1,250 mg of vitamin C.
