My mother diagnosed with als

My 74 year old mother was recently diagnosed with ALS/MND/Lou Gehrig's disease after failing to recover from neck and shoulder surgery. She has lost movement in her arms, legs and has trouble speaking and breathing. I have been reading Ted's posts for natural cures and I am wondering if he has any updated information? In one post he recommends L-Glutamine but it is advised against on other websites since over-production of glutamate is a problem in ALS patients. I believe his last post on this issue was 2 years ago. Any additional information on his most recent cases/successes would be helpful. ps: Mom loves the clove oil massages and said she smells like Christmas spice candy! :)
