My feet and calves ache at night preventing sleep

Posted By Gert5 (Vols) on 05/16/2015

Please help me. At night, my calves and feet ache, tingle and spasm so bad I can't sleep. It is more intense at certain spots, I thought I had a clot or dvt, but it goes away during the day. I take potassium and magnesium at night before bed, but it still bothers me and I can't sleep. After standing up for 10 minutes it's gone.

I had to jump to get out of the way of a woman on a bicycle and badly injured my feet. I went to the doctor and was told I probably had no broken bones but they were badly sprained. I limped around for a couple months with no abatement (stabbing pains like needles not knives). I had some raw fermented Sauerkraut in the fridge that I hadn't tried and finally ate some of it (around 1/4 cup with juice). I woke up the next morning and all pain was gone and it hasn't come back. I don't have any reason to believe that this will help you but it sure wouldn't hurt. Please give this a try but make sure it is fermented and unprocessed. Good luck!

Hello Gert

Re aching feet at night...

Since you are taking magnesium and potassium already, I'd consider neuropathy as the problem.

So that is sugar related. To help I'd take four AEP tablets after 8 pm. (Calcium AEP...Google "calcium AEP nutrition review").

Also I'd consider a circulation issue...so I'd be sure to be on natural vitamin E...400 iu daily. Do not buy E at a Drug store as they only carry synthetic.

If sugar related, make sure you don't get any sugar after 2 pm. every day.
