What time she is feeling cold? Worm infection can also exhibit cold. Malaria can also exhibit cold in the evening times.Replied by Timh (Louisville, Ky, USA) on 03/05/2013
Sara: Dido on the possible parasites. Many natural doctors recommend an annual parasite cleanse for everyone. The possibility of a fungal or mycoplasma infection also seems likely here. There is lots of info for the treatment of all these suspected symptoms here on E. C. Garlic, Cinnamon, and Green Tea might be something in the cupboard you could begin straightway. Also, for immediate relief, try hot baths w/ 1/4 cup Epsom Salts, 1/4 cup Baking Soda, and 1/4 cup Borax. Speaking of minerals, Iodine is long been deficient in the modern diet, that's why the gov insisted on adding it to table salt several yrs ago. Try some Kelp tablets for starters on Iodine.Replied by Bill (San Fernando, Philippines) on 03/05/2013
Hi Sara... It is the thyroid that generally governs the temperature of the body. A quick way to check whether your mother is hypothyroid would be to check her body temperature first thing in the morning with a basal thermometer. The temperature should be 98. 6 F. If it is lower than this, then she is probably low thyroid or hypothyroid.Another way is to go to your doctor and ask for a thyroid check. If you do this -- ask for the Free T3 and Free T4 hormone check because the regular TSH check is so notoriously innaccurate.
The remedy for low thyroid is to supplement 5% lugols iodine up to 8 drops a day( 50 mgs/day) in 4 split doses of 2 drops in water. The full Iodine Protocol is shown here and is a fairly easy protocol to follow:
Iodine Protocol
You can also verify what heavy metals she has in excess in her body and also ascertain what minerals she is perhaps lacking in her diet by having a hair analysis done(quite cheap).
All your mother's other problems also seem to be related to her possible thyroid problems. Her arthritis can be cured by taking the borax water protocol shown on the EC site. This just involves dissolving 1/8 tspn borax into one liter of water and drink this water throughout the day. Take the remedy for 5 days then have 2 days off the remedy. This will rapidly help to cure the arthritis. Bye the way, Borax is about as poisonous to humans as ordinary table salt -- you can check the Material Safety Data Sheet(MSDS) online to confirm this.
Rex Newham, an Australian PhD researcher had chronic arthritis in his early 30s. He discovered that taking just 60 mgs of borax a day completely cured his own serious arthritis problems after several months.
Fluoride also inhibits thyroid activity. Borax also removes excess fluoride from the body.
Osteoporosis is caused by an imbalance between the calcitonin and parathyroid hormones. Osteoblasts help to form bone and osteoclasts remove bone in the body, putting it into the blood -- this is a natural ongoing metabolic process. The calcitonin hormone arises from the thyroid gland(another connection to low thyroid perhaps). Borax or boron is also needed to help regulate the parathyroid gland. Taking magnesium chloride or magnesium citrate will also help to regulate calcium in the blood which will also help to lower blood pressure. Avoiding salt, fats and sugar in the diet will also help to reduce blood pressure. The dose is 250 mgs magnesium twice a day(This is already in The Iodine Protocol). Excess calcium in the blood also inhibits iodine receptors and iodine absorption throughout the body and also depresses energy production in the cell mitochondria.
The Iodine Protocol will also help with your mother's high blood pressure problem. In this way, all your mother's problems seem to be related to a certain lack of nutrients with excess calcium and lack of iodine, borax and magnesium in the diet being the main culprits.
