This is been 1 month shes on the nursing home now and I'm looking for any kind of help. She can't have a transplant because of her liver and she didnt respond to the steroids at all. There's got to be something out there to help her.

Rachel; I have no experience with pulmonary fibrosis.

Research a protean-lytic enzyme called: serrapeptase or Serratiopeptidase, an enzyme isolated from a microorganism in the gut of a silkworm. The silkworm uses serrapeptase (AKA Serratio Peptidase or serratiopeptidase). It can dissolve fibrin, without harming the surrounding living tissues. It is widely used. It is fairly cheap. It is available for sale without a perscription.

... " Serrapeptase digests non-living tissue, blood clots, cysts, and arterial plaque and inflammation in all forms. The late German physician, Dr. Hans Nieper, used Serrapeptase to treat arterial blockage in his coronary patients. Serrapeptase protects against stroke and is reportedly more effective and quicker than EDTA Chelation treatments in removing arterial plaque. He also reports that Serrapeptase dissolves blood clots and causes varicose veins to shrink or diminish. Dr. Nieper told of a woman scheduled for hand amputation and a man scheduled for bypass surgery who both recovered quickly without surgery after treatment with Serrapeptase.... "

Has been known to help: "....Inflammation of any kind including - Breast Engorgement; Cystitis joints or muscles; Fibromyalgia; Fibrocystic Breast Disease; Headaches & Migraines caused by inflammation; Inflammatory bowel diseases (Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's, IBS); Lupus; Lung & Chest Problems; Asbestosis, Miners and Farmers Lung; Bronchiectasis; Bronchial Asthma; Bronchitis; Coughs; Cystic Fibrosis; Emphysema; Pulmonary Tuberculosis.

Also- Eye Problems; General Inflammation; Blocked veins; Damaged Nerves
Multiple Sclerosis; Ear, Nose & Throat problems; Chronic ear infections; Catarrhal Rhinopharyngitis; Hayfever; Swollen Glands; Sore Throat; Laryngitis; Runny nose; Rhinitis; Sinusitis problems.

Trauma Related Issues - Sports Injuries, prevention & Recovery; Post Operative & Traumatic Swelling; Post Operative Scars & Lesions

Vascular Problems and Misc. - Varicose Veins & Thrombophlebitis; Arterial Disease, Angina, DVT, Blood Clots; Anti-aging; Animal treatment

Rachel of Newark, NJ: My sis-in-law had IPF too and Lugol's iodine (2%) treated her disease. Maybe you would like to consider it if other natural remedies in this site doesnt work. Hope your mom recovers soon. Wish her good health.

Hi Rachel. My heart goes out to you and your mom. I just wanted to agree with "Dud" and his earlier post on Serrapeptase. You should really try it. It can't hurt, and might really help.

I was a 30 year smoker until I finally quite a couple of years ago. I have been taking Serrapeptase for about a month now. I will continue to take it after reading about it. It seems to be good for so many things. Please research it...

I buy mine (Doctor's Best brand) online for the lowest price (Vitacost).

Good luck to you and your mom. Carly

Rachel, I would try giving your mum comfrey tea or infusion. You can buy comfrey root online or you may know someone who has it fresh. Put it in boiling water and have her drink it or put it in boiling water and leave overnight. Drink the next day. Also a poultice (mashed roots) applied to her chest area and left overnight will help her. The root is said to be for internal use and the leaves for external.

Comfrey has been used for thousands of years until recently when it has been said to cause liver problems (according to the FDA). You can do your own research but I have read people taking it for over 30 years will no ill effect. Animals taking it thrive.

Comfrey contains a substance called Allentoin which speeds healing in the body. It is also the same substance found in the mother's womb to speed up growing a baby. It is known as a wonder herb. In the 1910's it was used in a hospital with amazing results on burn victims.

It has been known to help bleeding of the lungs and consumption among many many other things.

Rachel, research conducted by Professor Derek Mann from Newcastle University on the nature of fibrosis has found that commonly prescribed medications for hypertension such as ACE inhibitors and Angiotensin antagonist illicit a notable reversal in at least 50% human subjects studied. Wikipedia acknowledges that this new finding is also found to reverse fibrosis in not only liver but kidney, lung, and heart.

Hi Rachel - There are a number of suggestions on the Pulmonary Fibrosis page here on Earth Clinic that you may find useful:

https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/pulmonary_fibrosis.html

Also, I agree with Dud about systemic enzymes. I found this info on the Web.

"Serrapeptase and nattokinase are powerful systemic enzymes that act upon protein-based complexes, such as the fibrin that makes up scars, at and around damaged tissue. Nattokinase is particularly effective because it enhances the body's natural ability to fight excess fibrin deposits in several different ways. It dissolves fibrin directly and appears to enhance the body's natural production of both plasmin and other clot-dissolving enzymes. Additionally, research shows serrapeptase significantly reduces the viscosity of mucus in the lungs and nasal passageways, improving airflow."

You are doing a great job. I wish you and your Mom all the best. Take care, Bess

1) Get Food Grade Hydrogen peroxide and protocol how to use it.

2) Let your mom take it as long as she can tolerate.

3)Do all kind of deworming (pills). I would avoid herbs pills since they can be contaminated with parasites.

4) Total hygene and use boiling water for cleaning raw fruits/vegetables, no inhalation of dust.

5) Clean well the house, get rid of all pets.

I think it is a lung parasite (fluke) eating her lungs alive and causing scarring.

If can find, take Egaten (10mg/kg)in am and pm for 1-2 days.
