Hi Leanne, any luck with treatment for the Trochanteric Bursitis? I have the same thing. I have started to take Golden Paste hoping it might help. I have deep tissue massage once a month which seems to ease tight muscles but the sharp pain is still there. I am doing about an hour of walking every day now which I have been told is needed. I would be very interested in anything you have found that helps.Replied by Leanne (Australia, ) on 05/02/2016
Hello Clare,
Yes, I went to see a physio and he said my pelvis was slightly twisted so he worked on that and he also used the TENS machine which sends electrical impulses to the bursa. I had about 5 treatments and it is 90% better. I can sleep at night with no pain and virtually no pain during the day. No other treatment but I do try and walk everyday, but I'm not real big on exercise unfortunately, occasionally I get a bit of a twinge, but so much better. I never took any supplements for it to speak of, just ACV and a few other things. If it flares up again I will go back to the physio but so far so good. Hope this helps you.
