Lessening cipro side effect

Posted By Mortalone (Austin, Texas) on 11/02/2012

Question: I am currently taking Cipro (not happy about it) due to a high number of white blood cells. The doctor suspects prostatits. In the meantime, over the last year, i've been gradually ridding myself of flourides, heavy metals, etc, so naturally I'm concerned about the potential flouride poisoning of this medicine (30 day treatment of 1000mg). DOes anyone know of a potent alternative (natural or otherwise), or if not, something that I can take in conjunction with it, so I can lessen the fluoride effects until the white blood cells are lowered?

Dry mustard is an antiseptic. You may want to try 1/2 tsp. In 1/2C cool water before breakfast. Try another dose 1/2 hr. After dinner. I take it sometimes before lunch. It tastes terrible but chugging helps! I'm still experimenting. I used garlic for an abscessed tooth (see humorous posting under abscessed tooth by happynurse66 last July or August).

Someone else posted on this site that they had better results from mustard instead of antibiotics but didn't give the dose and I don't remember what I was looking up when I read it.

Ginger and turmeric are anti-inflammatory spices that I use on eggs, potatoes and spinach. Be mindful that they are blood thinners as is garlic. I alternate brussel sprouts and cauliflower for the Vit. K needed to clot blood.

Forgot to mention that Blackstrap Molasses is a good source for iron. 1 TBSP in warm water before you go to bed. Kathy
