could please help me make my own shampoo and let me know what food or vitamins I should take and which ones to avoid?

Hi. Have you ever heard of using borax to wash your hair? It's amazing for itchy scalp. Put one tablespoon of borax into 1-2 cups of hot water and stir. Then put into a spray bottle and spray liberally on your scalp during your next shower. Massage in and let sit while you wash your body. Rinse thoroughly. Use pure food grade aloe vera juice from another spray bottle as your leave-in conditioner all over your scalp and hair.
After a week or so your hair will be soooo amazingly soft and after a couple weeks you will feel the new growth coming in as if you touch your scalp.
I have heard this even helps those recovering their hair growth after cancer treatments.
I know this has helped me, entirely by accident. I have hashimoto's (an autoimmune disorder) and i was looking for something to moisturize the straw i had on my head. I was quickly hooked by how soft my hair was and hadn't been since before my illness began. I didn't realized it would help my hair grow. Prior to this it had thinned so much due to fallout that i had cut it short. Wish i would have known about this before that!

Crystal, I'm hypothyroid also and just saw your post on hair loss. I can't wait to try your remedy since I've lost 50-75% of the hair on top of my head. Thanks for the information and I'll let you know in a few months if it works for me. I haven't tried it yet but am really excited to know this has helped you.
