Is a broken cfl light bulb toxic

Broke a compact fluorescent in my bedroom now worried about the exposure to me and my children. What can I do now that it's happened? I vaccummed it up and apparently you are not supposed to? How do I clean the room up now without further exposure? I'm concerned overall.

Take the vacuum outside and empty it very well and if it can be washable do so with warm water and leave in the sun to dry. Empty the watered remains into the trash unless your state has a ban on doing so.

To help reduce side effects of any exposure from Mercury, either supplement Selenium or eat Brazil Nuts for several days.
