Could My Inflamed Lymph Nodes Be Strep Throat?

Posted By Aaron (Pennsylvania) on 02/17/2016

Hello!

This is my first time on here but I've heard great things so I'm just gonna throw my agonizing problem out there and see what you guys think!

I've been sick for maybe 5 days now, somewhere about 2 or 3 days ago my neck started hurting. (the 2 lymph nodes to be exact) I don't have any white or yellowing on my tonsils, I have no fever, I have a runny nose and a bad cough.

After talking with a doctor in a brief phone conversation they tried to get me come in for antibiotics claiming I probably have strep throat.

So my question(s) to all of you is; do you think I have strep, should I go to the doctor's, and what should I take/do about it?

A quick side note: The pain worsens when I cough up mucus, swallow anything cold, or eat acidic foods like an orange.

Thank you!

Aaron, I think a lot of people on this site forget how much age and current health status (prior to illness) plays in healing. If you are in good general health, this is what I would do....

1. Visit MD let them find out if it is strep

2. If it is/isn't - go to the vitamin shoppe (all over pa) and get some colloidal silver spray, 30 ppm. Use as directed. Colloidal silver is my go to for everything throat/nasal/respiratory related

3. On your way home from the vitamin shoppe, stop by the grocery store, get a couple of large pieces of A) fresh ginger, B) turmeric powder from the spice aisle, C) coconut milk from the dairy aisle, and honey. I am going to assume you have ground pepper and powdered cinnamon at home. Since you are not feeling well, this is a down and quick list - I try to use everything organic but hey - you get what you can get. Here is the instructions on making this turmeric tea.

I. In a saucepan, place 1/2 cup of coconut milk on low flame and add 1/2 teaspoon of powdered turmeric and an 1/8 teaspoon of pepper (this potentiates the cur cumin in the turmeric up to 2,000%). whisk well. Let simmer.

II. Place about a thumb sized, peeled and chopped up piece of garlic in a blender, ninja, vitamix - whatever you have plus about 3/4 cup of coconut milk in blender with a tablespoon of honey. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil if you have it.

III. Blend well. Add stovetop portion to blender. Pulse a couple of times.

VI. Enjoy. Make this two times a day.

Remember - turmeric stains everything so no plastic anything when cooking with it.

I drink this concoction daily for immune/inflammation support and between the colloidal silver and this - no virus/bacteria will want to set up shop in your throat. This combination is powerful! So spray your throat, wait 2 hours, drink the turmeric tea...wait till evening then do the procedure.

Good Luck!!!!

In the turmeric tea recipe, chop up ginger, NOT garlic! My mistake!
