I was diagnosed almost 20 yrs ago with idiopathic hypersomnia. I do not get refreshing sleep and have excessive daytime sleepiness. I resolved that I have had it my whole life?I?m now 54.
I raised my D serum levels to 74 after yrs of chronically low numbers. Extra MK7, magnesium.. also take multiple types of inflammatory reducing supplements on and off especially turmeric or black oil seed. Mostly use supplements and or herbs no medications as the have negative affects.I?ve tried and rotate, Passion flower lemon balm l tryptophan valerian supplements and others to promote more restful sleep. I have to manage how long I am still as it increases my fatigue.
Has anyone any insight or ideas on this subject? Currently struggling with fatigue brain fog/confusion. Random overwhelming naps tho I resist them greatly!
