Husband had pelvis fracture surgery with plates and pins

This question is for Ted, my husband fell from a ladder, not too high but still broke his right arm and right pelvis. I guess the fall was really bad. He had a hip surgery to put his shattered bones back and used plates and pins. His hip still hurts and going through therapy. My question is how to avoid future arthritis and weak bones, because if this happens, there will be bigger health risks. Also, his upper right leg (from knee to hip) is numb. Doctor said that it could take a year or so to heal. He also said that the outer part of the leg may never heal because he cut the nerve, otherwise it would be burning all the time. The inner thigh nerve is damaged, so will be a year.

My question, if there are any remedies to heal the numbness and nerves, how to make his bones strong, avoid arthritis and in general how to take care of his hip with plates and pins. I would really appreciate your help. He is limping right now but started walking. Thanks a lot for your help!

Dear healthnut --- do look up SYMPHYTUM or COMFREY as it is also called. This is an old and tried herb which has been vilified by the government because it is not only very affordable but highly effective for your needs in particular.

You can also buy it as an homeopathic remedy which I have used myself for a rib injury. The truth is that there are numerous testimonies by people who have used it daily as a tea or eating a leaf for serious bone and connective injuries . I have googled it and there is much information for you. Stay away from pharma drugs which have more side effects than beneficial action aside from the cost. Topically Arnica Montana salve is very helpful.

All the best for a speedy recovery.

Namaste, Om
