How Best to Get Off Medications for Anxiety/ Depression?

Posted By L. K. (Wallace, Nebraska) on 05/11/2011

I have a question for Ted: I have some arthritis, and Dr. Says cartilage is gone in big toe joints. I would like to try the Borax, and now I just read that flouride which is found in Antidepressants may be a cause of some of this. Well, I am taking an antidepressant, Zoloft, and also something for anxiety, Ativan. HOW can I safely go off of these drugs? My reason for needing them? Husband has lymphoma, nearly died twice in past year, has CHF, Kidneys weak. Also son hurt in a serious vehicle accident, etc. I have been quite stressed...

L. K. - have you heard of Emotional freedom Technique? This could help with your depression a great deal. Google it. It's easy to learn & do.
