Help needed for issues from ceramic fillings

root canals

I had my amalgam fillings removed and replaced with biocompatible fillings in 2009. Since then several of the ceramic fillings have failed, causing me to have 2 root canals from the filling removals. Is there anything that can be done to save a tooth that has become sensitive to cold and now hot? I don't want to lose a third tooth. Also, my dentist informed me yesterday that in one of the root canals material migrated to my sinuses. He wants me to see an oral surgeon, at his expense, to have this material removed. Is there a drawing salve or rinse that I could use to break this material up and flush it from my sinuses? Please, please help me find a solution to this without resorting to surgery. I also fight high blood pressure and do not want meds as they do a number on my body. I have acupuncture every week, qigong and tai chi. I want to avoid western medicine at all costs.

Hey Ted: I just got a filling this past summer about 3-4 months ago, I think. My teeth have always been sensitive to cold food, like ice cream and popsicles and cold fruits, but ever since my filling, my teeth have been extremely sensitive to both cold and hot foods, I can't even drink cold water the way I used to and the sensitivity I'm feeling is nothing like I had before. How can I get rid of this!! ??

I would not describe it as excruciating pain just more extreme discomfort and I can feel the nerves in my tooth screaming at me... If that doesn't sound painful! Please help! Thanks!

When my teeth are sensitive, it is easily remedied with extra fermented cod liver/butter oil. Sensitivity is gone within a couple days.
