Can Any Supplements or Remedies Help Fiance with Mental Illness?

Posted By Kitkat43 (Buffalo, Ny) on 04/02/2017

Hello, I need some help with my fiancé. He is suffering from mental illness. I'm sure it is some sort of paranoid delusional disorder. Possibly bipolar also severe anger outbursts. He is not on any supplements and his diet is horrible. I however have him cutting out all soda, sugar, refined and processed food. I've read through some of this site I was recommended by friends. However, I don't know how to begin helping him with these supplements. Also I'd like to add I do know he has bad gut issues and I've started him on a probiotic. He also smokes marijuana everyday. I'm at my wits end and don't know what to do. I don't want him to see a traditional American Dr because they will just give him chemicals. Please help. Kat.

Hi Kitkat43,

It's good you had him cut out sugar, soda, refined and processed foods.

You need to start him on mega doses of Vitamin B3 (Niacin or Niacinamide) 1000 mg x 3 times a day totaling 3000 mg per day atleast. Start slowly if using Niacin, as it causes flushing. This should help him with both delusions and anger.

Also mandatory is a good Vitamin B50 capusle/tablet, 5 days a week. Vitamin C 2000 mg X 3 times a day is also required.

Use "Ultra 30" Probiotic capsule (one capsule a day 30 min before breakfast with cold water). It is available on Amazon and is very helpful for improving gut flora even though expensive.

He absolutely needs to stop marijuana as none of this will work if he doesn't.

There are others like Omega 3 capsules 1000 mg twice a day and lemon baking soda remedy thrice a day (one lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda in a glass of water taken away from food) which should help as well.

Start doing all this and hopefully in one or two months there should be some improvement.
