Chronic fatigue - Hi there, hope your all well and happy? I send my kind thoughts to you all and wonder if someone can give me some input?

I have spent £1000's on trying to find a cure to my tiredness. Symtoms below. Just recently been to see the doctor who is has now done the second set of bloodtests... I am currently in contact with a holistic therapist who is insistant of the tiredness being my endocrine system.

Below is the info I have been sending and speaking with. If someone can give any advice etc, please let me know. I have two sets of bloodtest results that show low this and that. Can post or email to anyone interested?

Many thanks, James

"Your GP has ruled out inflammatory conditions, you are not aneamic or diabetic, and your thyroid function is normal. The main abnormality I see is the low SHBG. I would suggest you ask your GP to repeat this, and also check your fasting insulin and glucose levels, ferritin, cortisol and prolactin. To get these done privately is expensive. One possibility for some of your symptoms, particularly fatigue, is insulin resistance. Amphetamines and related drugs such as ecstasy do have some endocrine impact, usually loss of libido, but little is known about their long-term effects. I would be happy to review these results."

Hi Sir, Many thanks for replying. Much appreciated. Enclosed 1st and 2nd test results. Please let me know if you see anything that would cause the chronic tiredness.

Many thanks.

Dear Sir, I wondered if you could please help, or give me some advice. I would do anything to get rid of my chronic tiredness. Just recently had my blood tested and a few things have showed up. However my GP wont forward me to an endocrinologist so think I may have to go private from here. Can forward you the scanned results of my blood if you wish?

Some more info on my condition. Been like this for 17 years. Took many recreational drugs as a teenager including speed, weed, ecstacy, cocaine etc. In October 1992 I took speed and ecstacy (at a rave) and was very wasted. The next day I was too scared to sleep as I thought I wouldn't wake. I'm sure that my dire tiredness started from there. Have listed symptoms below.

I do have:
Mild Athletes foot (reacuring), Cold feet, *Heel spur, Slight cracks around my groin area that weep. Yeasty and fungal, Jock itch for at least 15 years. Sorted with coconut oil. Only thing that worked!
Itchy anus, Lower back ache, Cold hands, Hard to put on weight (have taken body building steriods), Wind/ burping/Bloating, *Indegestion, Upset stomach, Tightness in my chest sometimes., *Slurring of words most of the time., Furry tongue, *Poor concentration., *Poor memory, Sensitivities to noise., *Constant head fog, *Constant tiredness - apple cider vinegar helps for a small amount of time, Itchy ears

I don't have:
Sensitivities to smells, fuels, smoke diesel fumes etc. Although I did have a hair analysis done and said I do.
Mercury fillings. Removed Last year, but not done a detox on that.
Food sensitivies, Sinnus issues

I have tried:
Hypnosis, Acupuncture, Meditation, Reiki, Psychotherapists, Psychiatrists, CBT, Huna, Urine therapy, etc etc

pH diet for 6 months - pH would not go above 7. Did go from acidic to more alkaline but only slightly. Didn't feel any better.
Last Natrupath verdict - Lack in various vitamins and now sorted.. Said I had slight leaky gut. Still not sure why my pH levels wont go up?
Hydrogen Peroxide infusions at .375%

Oh, I'm all over this thing but still not much progress. Any input will be greatly appreciated. I think Its going to take a while to shift. Thank you in advance.
James

EMAIL FROM CURRENT NATURPATH
Hi James, From what I could see, your hormones are out of balance. Low sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) may be related to hypothyroidism and insulin resistance which are consistent with your symptoms. High serum luteinizing hormone (LH) level is also something that needs to be addressed. So, go back to your GP and ask for a referral to an endocrinologist, as I had suggested, and insist on it!

I am by no means an expert, but based on some of your symptoms and the fatigue I recommend that you have a look at the Candida pages here on Earth Clinic. I don't want to recommend any particular course of action - this is something you can maybe ascertain for yourself if if you find lots of similarities with your own health and what others have written about the causes and effects of Candida. I personally followed some of the protocols mentioned and my health has improved dramatically. This could be because I had Candida or purely coincidental in that some of the things I did just happened to fix whatever was wrong - either way it worked for me! I hope you get to the bottom of your situation and find a solution. Good luck.

Hi James, Sounds like you are dealing with some pretty severe symptoms. Yes, I am certain they all stem from serious candida. I have written others about understanding that so many problems stem from this one source that is completely overlooked by the mainstream medical doctors. They actually will even poo-poo it. I have helped many people over time with this condition and they have seen relief. I want to bring to attention a Dr. who has his own personal story behind his discoveries. I have read his books and about a year ago when he was promoting his up and coming book I signed up to receive email audios of him speaking on this subject. His work is very good and can help someone who does not know much about this subject become clear on it and guide them back to health. If you google Dr. Mark Hyman you will find promotional stuff but I know there is audio available with him speaking. You can have a look at his books if you go into a bookstore as well and see if you see yourself in his descriptions (which you will). I reallly do hope this helps you find your way out of this. Clear up the core source and all the symptoms will clear up. Take care of yourself. Lisa
