Has nerve damage after dental surgery

Posted By Donna (Austin, Tx) on 08/31/2010

I had dental surgery for implants and have nerve damage. The lower left side of my jaw and lip never woke up. Yes, it's still that numb feeling after dental work, but appears to be permanent. I've been taking megadoses of Vit. C powders in water, plus a multi-B. It's been 3 months now and the numb area seems to be getting smaller in size, burns, tingles, stings... Any ideas on remedies for this particular type of nerve damage?

I find that alpha lipoic acid 300 mgs. 2 x a day 120 cps will usually clear up pain, tingling. Etc. It is not a cure, you must keep taking it to get relief.

Here is a copy of another recent post: 09/03/2010: Abid from Rawalpindi, Pakistan writes: "There are two well known homeopathic remedies for nerve damage. Just dont worry and try these remedies. Take Hypricum 30( three drops in a spoon of water three times a day) and Arnica 200 (two drops in spoon of water twice daily)After about 15 days switch on to Arnica 30( 3 drops in spoon of water thrice daily. Hope this helps.
