Hi,

Fantastic feed backs in this website has prompted me to ask you a solution to problems of High cholestrol and High Uric acid. I am undergoing medicines for past 2 years, there has been little improvments, But what I am looking for is full recovery and life without medicines. Moreover I live a busy lifestyle I forget to take my medicines sometimes.

I had taken the test for cholestrol, Uric acid and blood sugar on 29th JUN 2010, I have posted it below. I know these results would be more or less the same if I do the test today, bec I havent changed my lifestyle of drinking alchol atleast 3 times a week (atleast 210 Ml of whole grain Indian whisky), I got a gout attack in 2009 thats when all the test were done and I discovered about cholestrol and uric acid. I dont get any gout attack now, but slight pain does occur if I drink excessively. The swelling on my right toe is still there but very marginal swelling. I do eat meat if cooked at home once a week and fishes at least twice a week at home. I have oat bran in the morning at least thrice a week. I Drink 2 litres of water everyday. I do eat fried food sometimes when really hungry at work. I want to detox my system and start off new.

I male, 37 years old.

As of now I have cholestrol level of :

Result Normal values

Triglycerides : 339. 6 30- 150 MG/DL

Cholestrol total : 326. 1 130 - 200 MG/DL

HDL direct : 51 35 - 80 MG/DL

VLDL : 67. 92 6. 0 - 30. 0 MG/DL

LDL : 171 50 to 130 MG/DL

Cho/HDL ratio : 6. 39 UP TO 4.5

LDL/HDL ratio : 3. 35 LESS then 3.5

Uric Acid test : 9 Normal values 2. 50 - 07. 20 MG/DL

Regards

Hi I really implore you to watch a youtube video by Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride entitled: Cholesterol & Health. She prescribes to the idea that Cholesterol is actually needed by the brain. You can form your own opinion but I would be interested to hear what you say about it.
