Dry Damaged Hair and Hair Loss From ACV

Posted By Zia (London, UK) on 09/16/2012

Ted, I have on many occasions been drinking Apple Cider Vinegar to help with hair loss, eczema and also with constipation successfully. I have moved to london and water is hard, and was faced with drastic hair loss, so did what I knew, started drinking Apple Cider Vinegar and also applying it on my hair, the reactions have been awful, not only making my hair frizzy and brittle, along with hair loss, but it's not helping my constipation either, and in small doses the dry itchy skin is back. I can't understand what is going on? My colon also seems to be slightly swollen, and since my normal solution isn't working, I am left feeling clueless, please help!! Thank you.

Ted, I wrote you earlier, just wanted to mention a few more things before you reply..... I am drinking evian bottled water, and I am showering with a shower filter attchment. i got sick a few weeks ago, I was getting pressure in my lower abdomen and constant urination, so doctors gave me 2 doses of antibiotics, with this my hair loss was more drastic, but the infection cleared, but I am back with the lower abdomen pressure and still need to urinate fairly often! My ph levels for urine and saliva are both between 6 and 6.5. I am doing the baking soda and water once a day and also taking black strap molasses once a day. My symptoms are still hair loss, lower abdomen pressure, urinating fairly frequently and also a parched thirsty feeling, even though I am drinking more than 8 glasses of water?! ? also as I mentioned my skin feels very dry and itchy! Last week I tried to drink lemon juice mixed with water and I got a sharp pain in my lower abdomen.... I eat a very healthy diet and I don't drink anything but water , I can't figure out what is going on, please help! Thank you.

Zia, you did not mention your age. I hope this does not frighten you but I felt compelled to reply. Three years ago I suffered many of the symptoms you described. I went to numerous doctors and Specialist with no results. This continued for 18 months. Finally I went back to my gastroenterologist and demanded he find what was causing my illness. A routine colonoscopy detected colon cancer. I urge you to seek medical exams and test to find the source of your problems. If they turn out not to be life threating, then look for alternative treatments. I was 53 at the time my cancer was diagnosed.
