Dissolving APEEL Produce Spray Which Contains Heavy Metals

Has anyone discovered a way to dissolve the "APEEL" produce spray that is currently being accepted, used, sold by most major markets? They say that the purpose is to prevent dehydration and make produce last long and that it's plant based, non-toxic and not able to be washed off. IT CONTAINS HEAVY METALS! There is no law that requires it to be labeled and is also being applied to organic produce.
