In my opinion this insurance is a rip off. When I need any sort of medical or dental help I pay for it and save a whole lot of money that way. The dental care is, for me, the most expensive. You can read about LASIK surgery costs here:

Also, Lasik surgery is not a treatment for cataracts. It is for something else entirely and is almost never covered by insurance (if you were to be so fortunate to arrange for insurance). I wish you the best and if anyone out there knows of alternatives to surgery, I would love to know about them; as having worked in the surgical field, I think surgery should always be the last resort and not the first.

My last posted message was about cysteine containing eyedrops for cataract reversal therapy. But the cause of the cataracts is the side effects from the diabetes condition. Their true cause. Fix that, and the cataracts are fixed, or at least halted in their progression.

Below I will post a link to a article about research on using Cysteine to treat diabetes internally. To help stop the damage from the diabetes; including cataract damage, You may want to consider taking cysteine supplement internally, as well as using cysteine eye-drops.

However; if you could stop and cure the diabetes, then that would be the best of all. There is a naturopathic type doctor by the name of Gabriel Cousins who has devised a diet cure for diabetes. He states that many are cured of diabetes in 30 days on the diet. the diet is a raw food diet. Dr. Cousins operates a health clinic in the USA. His books are sold on Amazon. I am not sure if one of those books is on the diabetes cure specifically, or not. Check there to see.

I do not have diabetes, and have not tried this cure myself. I do not know anyone who has tried it.

Since your cataracts are only a symptom of your diabetes disease, you need to cure the diabetes 1st, and the cataracts problem may go away as a result. Therefore, try the following CURE for diabetes.
