Help! Taking Meds for Diabetes Type II and Nerve Pain, Body Aches All Over

Posted By Mazza (Uk) on 06/07/2021

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in December, also suffering from nerve damage in my legs & feet.

I'm taking Metformin 2000mg a day for diabetes, & also taking Pregabalin 150mg for the nerve damage a day, which doesn't seem to help. Can somebody please advise me on why does my body aches all over, & what's the best thing to take to help with the discomfort? Thank you.

You could google up articles on "Tinospora cordifolia" {aka Tinospora crispa} called by various names in India: Giloy, Guduchi, Gulvel, etc. It is classified as a "Rasayana" :

"Rasayana is a Sanskrit term derived from ancient Ayurvedic medicine, meaning a rejuvenator which enhances the healing process and immunity. It prevents the occurrence of diseases. It promotes overall health and Longevity. It is beneficial in Diabetes and Blood Pressure. Giloy is regarded as one of the TOP RASAYANA in Ayurveda."

It takes care of diabetes and diabetic complications including diabetic neuropathy. So, take this religiously long term and you'll experience positive changes as it can/will invigorate the body. One reliable brand of Tinospora is "Giloy Ghanvati" produced by Patanjali which is widely available.
