Depressed from hair loss

Posted By Irene (Sandvika, Norway) on 10/20/2012

Hello, I am a girl of 23 years. I have been having acne issues many years but its more or less resolved now. There is hypothyroid issue in my family and I got it as well. I am on medication.

I have been depressed and I think also weakned adrenals, but I think I fixed them now after following a strict schedule.

Nowadays I am only depressed because of the hair loss, it really depresses me and worries me. I am so scared I am going to lose all my hair. I had really really thick hair.

Before I was on medication, I had really a lot of gas problems. I had to go to toilet after eating because of the excessive gas, and it only progressed but has stopped since being on medication so I think I have enough HCL and stuff.

I took a hair analysis which showed I had low levels of manganese, copper, iron, magnesium, boron, molydebum, and probably iodine. I have been really healthy over the last years, 5 years or so. Eating mostly organic, a lot of veggies, no sugar, no addtivitives, no gluten and stayed away from milk products.

I did go on manganese before and it did stop my hair loss, but it did also deplete my ferritin stores. Whenever I take magnesium, I find my go low in manganese. Whenever I take iron, I get the same problem, or zinc. I dont know how to regulate all these. My stool are really weird and comes all forms, shapes and colors. I think there is something with my absorption?

Anyways, please please help me.. Iam so anxious and I have tried by best so far and.. I dont know what to do. Thanks ahead.

Hi, Blackstrap molasses( organic unsulphured) contains iron and manganese and copper this would be good for you I think as it's natually balanced.

Thank you. Is there anything I can do to absorb nutrients better, since have multiple deficiencies. I read somewhere that Ted used humic acid, is that something for me? Is it possible to book a consultation with Ted? I dont mind traveling to Bangkok. I am soon finished with my exams.

Hi Irene! There is a wonderful product, made right there in your home of Norway, called Immutol, a patented form of baker's yeast. This product has actually saved your fishing industry, and restored health to many people in Norway and abroad, with diverse problems and needs. Look it up and see what you think about it. Also gives you truly gorgeous skin! I am presently using it for my liver, and noticed lots of good changes with longstanding health issues, within weeks. --T.

Hello. Thank you very much for all your answers. I have tried digestive enzymes and HCL and it didnt do anything for me. I have suffcient amount of those. I think I have little bile production at times, because my stool can be ligher at times but I know its related copper or manganese deficiency as my stool is normal when I take them. I cannot take baking soda either, as I am trying to limit my sodium intake. I was wondering if humic acid can remove excess sodium from my system? I am not sure, but I think my hair loss a bit less today. I dont know which supplements to take, but I am sticking to b-vitamins, manganese and magnesium and borax a couple of times in a week, because its so hard to get sufficient amounts from diet. I dont like to take much of anything, it will interfere with other minerals/vitamins, making it more or less. I will have to trust my body to do the work. I am healthy and shouldnt be that hard. I have been on supplements for two years or so, and I havent tried to be without anything, maybe I should try that?

Hi Sandvika! Sweetie-- it's not that it's so hard to find the simple answer, it's that it takes turning over a lot of stones to find an answer. Had I given up, I would not be nearly so healthy as I am now. I learned a great deal while looking. Seek and ye shall find!

I loved the suggestion you got to put pee on your head, from someone in India, where "urine therapy" is very big. The premise is that this body fluid is special and individually designed to heal you. And yes, I have done it! I don't do it when I am taking lots of supplements and such, however. But, it sure as heck wouldn't hurt you to pour it on your head in the shower, and massage it in! Some people massage their whole body with it, to great good effect. It is an ancient practice.

That said, there is one thing I'm equally sure you haven't tried. Blue green algae is really coming into its own, and there is a special variety coming out of Lake Zell, Austria that is extremely old, and was used by the native people as food, who had great strength and immunity even during the dark ages. I have seen an old wood block print of them collecting this lake algae. It is only offered by one company and the product is called AFARejuvi, with their blue green algae 100% naturally sourced only from ancient Lake Zell's plantgrowth. Apparently, it is cell rejuvinating. It locates the parts of the body in need of repair, and repairs it. Thing is, the algae itself seems to recognize where to go.

I have given it to my son, who took it rather off and on, but it seemed to help alot with his acne. So, there is always something new/old under the sun! --T.

Irene: have you done the "gallbladder flush"?? This will open the north - south passage. Drinking lemon water itself will stimulate bile flow, digestion, elimination. Try a strong dose of lemon juice room temp filtered water and if you get bad heartburn it proly means you have gallstones. If you get a bowel movement it means you need to add lemon to your drink/diet.

Take Oregeno Oil to kill any possible pathogens in the gut.

If you have a weakened or "thin" intestinal lining try taking DGL plus Allantoin to "rebuild" the intestines. Glucosamine, Glycine, and Glutamine are also indicated for rebuilding. Speaking of Glycine, definitely try some, as it both heals tissues AND helps the body manufacture Bile. The amino acid Taurine also helps manufacture Bile. Lecithin emulsifies fat which prevents gallstones.

Also consider the uneventful possibility of Liver disease (go thru a symptoms check list). Milk Thistle Seed as well as many other herbs (i listed a few of them two days ago) are good for Liver and bile flow.

Hello! Thank you for your wonderful responses. I really appreciate it :)

About the pee, I have heard about it before. Some people have cured their acne by using it on their face. I tried it also once or twice, but gosh.. It was hard and it didnt smell good, and it didnt help my acne those two times :)

I drink lemon with baking soda, and I dont have any problems with that, and no.. I dont have liver disease. I have recently tried copper, 4mg a day which is a change and with stool turned brown and it also reduced my hair loss, so Iam a bit optimistic!

I havent received all the supplements yet, I have bought some after some reading here on earthclinic..
I have gathered information however, that I think is suitable for my treatment (hair loss and fungus (after a trip to India, I slept in a room with mold everywhere for one month):

Iron, even though its low, I should stay away from it because it feeds fungus (actually I get small rash on my hands everytime I ingest iron)

Low copper--> I will take sodium copper chlorophyllin 200-300 mg a day! (everyday for 2-3 weeks) and 2mg normal copper 4 days a week

Zinc: I have sufficient zinc in my hair analysis, but I will take 10mg a day nontheness (3 days a week)

Manganese- I have taken manganese for some time now, off and on, but I will take 15 mg 4 days a day

The B3(bedtime), MSM, BORAX, baking soda with lemon taken internally and b3, msm, borax applied topically also. 1/2 teaspoon of each with 1 tablespoon of water applied throughout the scalp. Overnight. (borax 1/8 in 1 liter of drinking water, and adding a large pinch of borax to the mix of topical application overnight. MSM taken internally around 1000 mg x 4 or x 5 to help kill the fungus)

Vitamin C sodium ascorbate 1000 mg everyday for 2-3 weeks, then reduce it to 500 mg

Molybdenum- Cannot find sodium molydate, and I have very low levels of that, but I found ammonium molybdate which I will take 1, 2 mg every day for 2-3 weeks, one day of per week)

Magnesium citrate 500-600 mg 5 days a week, I have very low levels of that as well!

I will try to find cooked liver found in chickens and pork, to get some iron.

Meanwhile, stay away from everything unhealthy! After these weeks, 2-3 weeks, I will only take some molybdenum (400mcg), some manganese (7, 5 mg), magnesium (300 mg), and borax 1 or 2 times a week.

Additionaly I will take some fulvic acid, biotin, PABA and amino acids to help the hair growth. Ibam waiting for some of supplements so we will see! I will post the results here after 3 weeks!

What do you think? My hair loss has reduced by 40/50 %. I am feeling better, happier because I have hope now!
