CYSTITIS/BLADDER INFECTION WON'T GO AWAY

I have tried all the natural remedies before I went to the doctor, literally just about everyone. I'm on my second round of antibiotics, the first one was Bactrim and it didn't wipe out the bacteria completely, so my doctor put me on Augmentin and I have noticed a difference, urination is definitely a lot less painful. But I'm almost done with this antibiotic and I was hoping to have NO PAIN and to be done with this stuff. I'm drinking plenty of fluids, I'm not having sex, and I'm taking vitamin c and acidophilus everyday along with this antibiotic. If I'm still having a little pain by the time I'm done, I dont know what I should do, I don't know what else the doctor can do. Is there anything anyone would recommend me taking along with the antibiotics? I really would like to be completely pain free. My mom who is a nurse said that if the pain isn't gone by the end of this round of antibiotics, I might have to go to the hospital and get an antibiotic through IV and see if thats helps.

1. Do NOT take acidophilus at the same time you're on the antibiotic! The acidophilus limits the effectiveness of the antibiotic.

2. I had a UTI a month ago, and my doc put me on Cipro (5 day supply/2 pills per day, 12 hours apart). Cured the infection.

3. After the infection is cleared up, THEN take the acidophilus to restore the good bacteria.

4. Also, to prevent future UTIs, follow the instructions at this EC link about how to take Organic Apple Cider Vinegar:

https://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/bladder_infection.html#ACV_77823

5. STOP ALL SUGAR, CAFFEINE, LIQUOR, WINE, and clean up your diet, including stopping the eating of processed foods. Some people have had to stop gluten, too. If you get recurring UTIs, eating all this "crap" will only set you up for MORE UTIs!

6. And, even if you're feeling 100% better, continue to take the Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, continue to eat and drink healthfully, get lots of sleep, and drink lots of water. Oh, and exercise, too. These are the basics! :-)
