John1974, I once heard from a doctor, that sugar cravings mean a need for more protein. It worked for me. Try a nice, juicy slice of salmon!Replied by John1974 (N.ireland) on 03/17/2015
Mmsg, I will give it a try and will let you know if it helps me.Replied by Alexandra (Cheshire, Uk) on 03/17/2015
I have heard that chromium can be taken to reduce sugar cravings. Might be worth Googling.Replied by Charity (Faithville, Us) on 03/17/2015
Sugar, fat , alcohol, drugs, carbs, endorphens from exercise, sex, gambling, shopping , golf, watching sports, workaholism, gaming, cleaning like monk, people pleasing or rescuing ect ...ect....ect.....you name what does it for you, that gives the relief in your brain in those pleasure centers .
If you have issues that led you to drink, it is possible your brain is trying to help you find another way to get a fix so you can have peace in your emotions. You could be unaware of issues your body is helping you tune out.
If so....pick a healthy choice that works for you, start a garden, remodel the house, join a walking club or biking club or hiking club, there are lots of healthy addictions to pick from.

Hi Charity, thanks for your reply. I have been walking 3 miles a day and altered my diet. Old patterns I have changed. On a certain night that I would have had a drink I now replace with doing something completely diff. Thanks for the advice.Replied by John1974 (N.ireland) on 07/13/2015

I hope you're OK, John. Breast issues up to & including cancer can occur due to lack of iodine. Find a good nascent iodine and take as directed. I know a good source in the states but I'm not sure they'd ship to you in Northern Ireland. What I use is Nascent Iodine. Cheers~
