Kayaking Girl,
Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS) is significantly more common after getting Covid-19. BMS can affect other areas of the body, as you have experienced.
There isn't much research into this area of Covid-19 infection, but some supplements that may be helpful are Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA). Most websites recommend 600 mg /day of ALA for BMS.
The B vitamins, B1 and B12 may also be helpful, but don't take anything with vitamin B6 in it including multivitamins or energy drinks as these often have vitamin B6 in them. Vitamin B6 may increase the pain or burning based on one study.
Zinc has also shown benefit for BMS.
Increased water consumption may also be helpful.
Lastly, melatonin was shown to offer benefit against BMS in the following study :

Here is a relevant quote from the study :
>>> ' Melatonin may be regarded as an alternative treatment for patients with BMS, though further studies are needed to confirm its effectiveness. ' <<<
