I have followed Ted's recommendations for Borax, (1/8 teaspoon 20 Mule Team borax, in 1 liter of water/ 4 days on 3 days off.)
It took 2 full days of taking the borax for my lower back pain to feel better. I have 2 bulging disks, degenerative disks disease and moderate arthritis. Also a pinched nerve on the left side affecting left leg. By the 4th day I was doing pretty good, still had pain but it was much more managable.
Since the protocol says to go off for 3 days, I did. Then on the 2nd day of NOT taking the borax, the pain was almost unbearable. So here are my questions.
1) Could I take the Borax every other day? For example Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.....?
2) Is there a time limit on taking the Borax? Like should you stop taking it after a month, 3 months, a year? Does it hurt to continue to take it indefinately?
3) Since the pain got so bad after NOT taking Borax for 2 days, I picked up Homeopathic Borax by Boiron 30c. Is this the same form as 20 Mule Team borax? If so should I not take that when I am supposed to be off borax for the 3 days?
Any help would be greatly appreicated!

I had just asked this question under the topic "Borax and Degenerative Arthritis" because I have taken the borax and water for 7 days straight. I guess I should stop for 3 days? As I said under other topic, I can't really say if it is the borax that helps or the change from neurontin to Lyrica that my DR. Ordered.
