Hi ProTraderQc,

There are different types of dementia so not one remedy will help all types, but this may interest you if the symptoms are similar :

I read a study, a long time ago, about how Coconut Oil works with cognition loss and helps reverse or slow it down; I believe it was for an alzheimers gentleman in his 80's and he had amazing results. He took a Tablespoon morning & night. It was believed that the C.O. helped fill in the actual holes in the brain that alzheimers causes. It's worth looking into at any rate. That study should still be out there. Best of luck.

One of the earliest documented uses of rosemary for health reasons was as a cognitive stimulant. It helped improve memory performance and quality. It is also known to boost alertness, intelligence, and focus. One possible mechanism for this action is that rosemary extract enhances the synthesis of nerve growth factor which is vital for nerve tissue.

Rosemary is a culinary herb that also has a reputation as a brain tonic. There is quite a bit of folkloric wisdom concerning the herb. In days long gone, rosemary was known as “the herb of remembrance, ” and the association stuck. In the last act of Hamlet, in fact, the mad Ophelia says, “There’s rosemary, that’s for remembrance.” Culpepper recommended not only drinking rosemary tea, but also rubbing rosemary leaves on the temples.

In the 17th century, Nicholas Culpepper wrote in his herbal that rosemary helps “diseases of the head and brain, as the giddiness and swimmings therin, drowsiness or dulness, the dumb palsy, or loss of speech, the lethargy, the falling sickness… It helps a weak memory and quickens the senses.”

As per a research study published by Dr. Solomon Habtemariam, rosemary prevents beta-amyloid plaques and suppresses acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activities, which are associated with the symptoms of Alzheimer’s, ataxia and dementia. It has also been linked to stimulating cognitive activity in the elderly as well as those suffering from other acute cognitive disorders.
