Mystery Pill Cured Severe Back Pain in One Dose But No Longer Sold

I had a very bad backache long time ago. then seen doctors and took pills the massages been done with no result, I was unable to do sudden movement or sleep properly, then one day I bumped into one of my mates, he was Med assist and told him of my pain, he prescribed a pill which was called (backache pill), after taking one pill all pain were gone!! I don't remember the name but was available in UK till 2004 then the company stopped producing it.
Does anyone remember this pill name or what it was?
