Back Muscle Spasms That Move - Muscle Virus?

BACK MUSCLE SPASMS THAT MOVE FROM ONE AREA OF THE BACK AND SHOULDER TO ANOTHER

My husband and I have this very painful back and shoulder stiffness including muscle spasms that come on us out of the blue at least once a year. We assume it must be caused by a virus since it's transmissible between my husband and I. One of us will get it and then about a week later the other will get similar painful stiffness and muscle spasms. The stiffness, pain and muscle spasms always move from one area of our back and shoulder to another area. Each of us will usually suffer all these symptoms for at least 2 weeks before the symptoms begin to subside and eventually go away. This has been happening to us at least once a year for about 5 years. Nothing seems to give pain relief while this is happening. We're wondering if other people have experienced anything similar or have any insights regarding this apparent muscle virus.

Dear Servant,

The best answer I could find on moving muscle spasms is in Chinese Medicine. Your Liver could be causing issue or Blood nutritional aspects. TCM has seasons that change and so can health. Read this over to see if other symptoms apply to your situation.
