My Back Giving Me Fits

Posted By Robert Henry (Ten Mile, Tn.) on 07/30/2016

Can find little relief for my back problem. Dr. in Atlanta told me to get my spine adjusted before my next round of ozone shots. I have done that, but no help there. Just ordered a new device that will decompress my vertebrae. It is in high demand and mine is on back order. My advice to all is not to get old. I can work on the farm for about an hour or so and then I have to sit a spell. My Tractor Driver is carrying most of the load these days and that makes me feel guilty. I'm supposed to be the man of the house. Would ask for advice, but don't think many have gone down this trail with success. If you have .....then chime in.

I have been reading lots of positive reviews on Hemp/CBD Salve for local pain issues. Most manufacturers combine the most medicinal plant on Earth with complementary herbs for best results. To be more specific, many of the salves are based primarily for healing of cuts or injuries. One product come-to-mind is from Bluebird Botanicals called "Hempsport" which appears to be designed more in the area of pain relief, as well as healing.

Of course the whole Cannabis plant which provides a broad-spectrum of Cannabinoids, particularly THC, is way better for pain in comparison to the little sister Hemp. Yet with the supportive herbs mentioned above the Hemp Salve may be just the best remedy you have yet to try.

Rsw: Great to hear your positive report. In order for hemp products prices to lower, go to National Hemp Association and submit a letter to your Representatives & Senators to pass the Industrial Hemp Act. Until then, if I am not mistaken, you may be eligible for Medical Marijuana in Ohio (not sure if that was voted down or not but you can find out).

Do look into your Kidneys as a source of the lower back problem. You could have some serious chronic infections going on, or worse, cancer, like my dear nephew (lower back pain was his first symptom. will be providing a positive update on his condition soon).

HI U TIMH,,,,,,,,,,,,,, in Atlanta now and will get my shots tomorrow. If they don't work then I'll be beating down your door.

Life is getting about as interesting as I can stand. Know you got problems far worse than mine. I wish you well.

Hi Timh,

FWIW, I was recently in a CBD trial, where six 15mg. capsules were taken per day, three AM and three PM. To my surprise, my lower back pain disappeared the second day of the trial, and returned a day and a half after the trial ended. It was heaven to be able to work in my yard, trim shrubs and weed, and my favorite, mow grass which I consider a meditation, with little to no back pain, and when it seemed to be starting back up after over doing the work out of sheer exuberance, it once again went away. Because of the high cost, I bought three bottles during an infrequent sale (Elixinol) and plan to use one bottle for an upcoming trip, one at Thanksgiving and one at Christmas so I can do all the walking, baking and cooking, hopefully, without pain

HI U Rsw & TIMH,,,,,,,,,,,,, after reading Rsw's post I sat down and ordered the very capsules she took for her back pain. Was not going to wait and see if the Ozone shots worked or not.

The lady at the CBD store said they are now getting lots of inquires and orders from the main stream MD's. Maybe there is hope for our doctors after all. She also said prices will drop when more people participate.

The list of benefits of Hemp is so big that I can guarantee you are in for some positive changes. The Mg doses Rsw took are, according to what I know, quite therapeutic, while I have been take fractions of those amounts and getting big benefits.

Do know that best results will be from the oral caps and topical salve. For this reason some retailers sell "combo pack" to hit the pain with the good ole one / two.

It is likely that major health food stores in Atlanta will have some salve, but do consider the product I recommended earlier.
