I was familiar with hiatal hernia because my step-father had that. My husband had awakened Tues. morning with a lot of pain in the area of his bladder and groin. The men he was working with told him it sounded like it could be a hernia, so that's why my search.
Now it appears he may have had a kidney stone because it went away as fast as the pain appeared.
He had been drinking a lot of lemonade and I thought I remembered reading on EC that lemon and olive oil was a remedy for kidney stones. We use olive oil for cooking. Even though he did not mix the lemon and OO together it appears that it must have worked for him.
He has a Dr appt next week but since he is in no more pain he may not go now.
