Help Needed Figuring Out a Plan to Improve pH

Posted By Gillian (Wilson, North Carolina) on 06/22/2016

I understand that mixing consuming water mixed with apple cider vinegar can help alkalinize the body. How much is necessary to consume to make a substantial difference? I've heard different theories. Another suggestion was adding Hydrogen Peroxide to water. How much, how often, and what is the approximate effective duration I would use both of these for assuming my body pH needs an overhaul? Then what would be a maintenance amount following? Thanks..

Dear Gillian,

You might want to invest in some pH test strips. This will help you to know where you are right now. It is actually possible to over-alkalize, though I don't think that is very common.

It would be hard to give you an exact amount to get your pH right. Everyone is different. Your pH will be different on different days depending on what you eat and drink.

An easy way to start out with the apple cider vinegar though is to just put a capful of apple cider vinegar (raw) into a glass of water once or twice a day. See how you feel and go from there.

I love apple cider vinegar with honey (1 T. of each) in a mug with hot water. I add a bit of cinnamon or chai spice to that.

Are you looking to help a specific health condition or just general health?
