Hi Raj, Try milk thistle and tumeric. Both herbs have great antioxidative effects. If they cannot cure your cirrhosis they might stop progression of the disease.

There's a product all over the internet called Liv-52 which claims to have 277 clinical trials and in some articles claims to cure liver disease. Myself, my brother and a friend have had good improvement within 3-4 weeks. The product is watered down some and called LiverCare for the US market. If you use the US version... I take a little more to bring it back up to the international dose. Google it and check it out. It's not exspensive either. Get the capsules not the pills.Replied by Steve (Dallas, Tx) on 03/11/2013
Hi all, I've read few times about the ALA positive effect on cirrhosis, is it ok if I use a sustained formula of Alpha Lipoic with Biotin instead of the R-ALA ...I've read pretty good reviews about the sustained formula online or should I just go back and get the R-ALA... Thanks much, SteveReplied by Timh (Louisville, Ky, Usa) on 03/12/2013
Steve: Either will certainly make a difference, but the R-Fraction is marketed as the most potent. Not familiar w/ the Biotin+ ALA, although Complete B is recommended for any liver disorders. Personally, I have been getting better results by pre-dosing MSM (3gms) 30 minutes prior to ALA.
