I realize there's not a lot of scientific coverage of these treatments, but does anyone have links to scientific studies related to the use of any of the following to treat essential tremor?
My history is that I've had a tremor since elementary school. I've taken pretty much every beta blocker on the market (propranolol is most effective for me, but has negative side effects for fitness (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2565329) and testosterone (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2900627)). I've recently started experimenting with some of the supplements and vitamins identified above, with some moderate reduction in tremor, but am curious about studies around these areas.
I've also found that resonant breathing exercise and meditation appear to reduce tremor. Thanks!

Jeffme, I had terrible tremors for over 30 years. My head, hands and entire body would shake terribly...I even shook in my sleep according to a female friend. Then I got broadsided in a car accident and got terrible whiplash....I had to have a full body MRI and fortunately nothing was broken...One week later I realized my tremors were gone...It's the magnets in the MRI...This had been 25 years and no recurrence of tremors...
