Does anyone have a safe natural remedy for infants diagnosed with Sandifers Syndrome? It is infant GERD.

If the infant is breastfeeding, you may want to look into the mother's diet. I know of a case where the mother was gluten intolerant, and the"offending byproducts", whatever that may be (histamines, inflammatory chemicals, etc. ) was picked up by the infant, with the infant suffering the ill effects. It kind of goes without saying that a lot of the "stuff " the mom eats will get transferred to the baby.

I would also suspect that the different formulas out there may be contributing. For example, I have heard (from a naturopath if I recollect correctly) that the reason there are so many peanut intolerant kids is that peanut oil was widely used in formula (not to mention the molds and afloxins that are in peanuts), and that soy-based formulas have contributed to the earlier pubescent development of children (due to hormone-mimicking).
