Hi Ket, Im sorry to hear of about your swolling nodes. I was curious to know if anything has helped you yet? I am in the same situation so I am in desperate search of a cure or treatment for my swollen nodes. Mine appear right under my ears.

I hope you find something that helps. If so please let us know what worked for you.

Peace

I find that dry brushing and then soaking in a really hot bath with epsom salts and baking soda mixed in, helps when my lymphnodes are swollen. It really takes any pain out of them too if you hold an ice pack on them. I am unsure as to what was causing mine to swell, but this has helped keep my comfort levels hight when they are acting up.

I have a submandibular lymph node that has been persistent for almost 8 months. It just under my right jaw. I suffer from inner ear dysfunction and its my right ear that's affected. I would recommend going to see a doctor to determine its not anything serious. Have you done a sonogram/ultrasound of it? Do you know how big it is. I was a science major in college and happened to take a class on immunology. When a lymph node appears to either be "shotty" or "stubborn" this is a sign of inflammation - either localized or in some cases chronic. Mine is chronic - which makes sense because this has to do with the ear problems I have. I did a sonogram some months back and its also a little less than a centimeter. My doc said there is some localized inflammation. Focus on building up/strengthening your immune system. I started taking Transfactor-X colostrum (have run out though) and this helped decrease it in size. Exercise too. This helps immensely to get the lymph and blood circulating. I've read - additionally - that rebounding exercises are excellent for breaking up debris and removing toxins from the lymph. If you're not familiar with rebounding - its simply bouncing exercises done on a mini trampoline.

Try any one of these remedies and see how they help. But don't give up! :0)

I too have swollen lymph node it started almost one year ago. It is located under my left jaw on my neck the submandibular lymph node is pretty swollen my ear lobe is red puffy went to the ER the doctor said it was dermatisis to use hydrocortisone and take an anti-inflammatory like benedryl. Realizing the doctor was sadly mistaken because I have been really sick for almost one year undiagnosed I have an low grade infection of some sort so the doctors have been knocking themselves out trying to figure it out I went to ND chinese medicine person as soon as he saw me he goes I know what you have.. Parasites (I was checked 4 x all negative but you can still a have them) For the inflammation the ND suggested the strong anti inflammatory is turmeric pills, so one turmeric pill every hour not to exceed 8 hours ( I'm super sensitive). So for my swollen lymph node I started with organic castor oil mixed with few drops of lavender oil, camphor and one drop of eucalyptus oil all four are mixed together, I rubbed this on my neck Then using the hydrotherapy method it is basically alternating from hot to cold you use a really cold wash cloth ( I put water and ice in a small bowl) place it on the area wait 45 SECONDS the you change to really warm to hot to warm washcloth of course gage the temperature that your comfortable with leave it on for 4 minutes then back to cold. You simply alternate from hot to cold I do this for 30 minutes twice a day if I have more I time I will do it 3-4 times aday This gets the circulation going and assist the glands in clearing the infection. Some peole might want to see a dentist to see if you have an infected root. Also Ted suggests drinking I think it is 1/2 tsp baking soda with 1/2 sea salt with a little a two drops of peppermint oil to kill the bacteria that is being released so I do this too. Sure hope this helps someone.

Simply rubbing castor oil on the area before bed makes a difference the next morning.

Castor oil pack on the liver works too. Castor oil pack is a large cloth soaked in Castor oil placed over the liver area, with a heating pad placed on top for a few hours or over night if you can manage it. Its messy I hear but some use a plastic wrap over it all.

Another remedy is one whole organic lemon (seeds, peel and all) in a blender with a few table spoons of olive oil. You can put in honey and some ice for taste.

Drink this mixture at least twice a day for 3 days. That worked for me back in 1998 like magic although, I read the mix wrong and used about a cup of olive oil. I also used lemon aid concentrate that was all natural with lemon oil, lemon juice and cane sugar as a sweetener to get the oily mixture down.
