What Alternatives Are There to Growth Hormone Shots for Children?

Posted By Tjjdjj (Apopka, Florida) on 03/04/2016

My grandson just finished testing for his Growth Hormone. He is 4 and is in the 1 percentile on the growth chart. All his test prove that he is in need of Growth Hormone therapy. This would mean one shot a day for approximately 15 years of a synthetic growth hormone. Has anyone used anything natural that has been successful in helping the Growth Hormone to start producing on its own?

T: There are numerous formulas & nutritional supplements available to help boost Human Growth Hormone (HGH). First it is important to note that HGH is created in the Pituitary Gland in the brain, so it may prove successful to take a supplement of Raw Bovine Pituitary Glandular to restore the P function (if this is a problem and likely is). Second, HGH is converted into Insulin Growth Factor or IGF-1 in the liver which is taken up readily by the cells in the body to promote regeneration and growth.

Basic supplements for boosting HGH are GABA, Arginine/Ornithine, high protein & low carbohydrate diet (no sugar), and Deer Antler Velvet. Vigorous exercise and moderate fasting (skip one meal a day) will help.

There are many more advanced supplements of varying degrees of effect and would help in this area but it is doubtful of producing the level of results of the synthetic.

When shopping for products to boost HGH, type in these key words Human Growth Hormone (HGH) or Insulin Growth Factor (IGF-1).
