Yes, baking soda and peroxide is fine, but you should also take vitamin c sodium ascorbate 500 mg to reduce oxidative peroxide.

1. Lemon water is alkalizing to the body too, correct Even though lemon has acidic pH, it alkalizes the body once ingested, right
2. So before my workouts for the BEST WAY to buffer lactic acid in order to keep working out hard, you would reccommend the baking soda and h2o2 in water before and during my workout, right Or would just one of the ingredients in water be better
and also 500 mg Vit. C sodium ascorbate if available.
Ted, you're the best!

To buffer, baking soda, or baking soda and peroxide has same buffering while the latter has more oxygen content. For lemon to work best, add baking soda more to neutralize the citric acid in lemon AND lactic acid. As far as lemon being alkaline has to do with citric acid reacts with excess calcium in your blood to get calcium citrate. So if you have excess calcium to do that it is alkalizing but adding baking soda will ensure it is always alkaline.

Hi Josh, I don't know know if your still here but take the hydrogen peroxide and vitamin C at different times or they can cancel each other out. HP is an oxidant and vit C is an antioxidant as I recollect.
