The components of slippery elm bark basically contains important active substance beta sitosterol (aloe vera), magnesium (any supplement), chromium (supplement), selenium (supplement), tannic acid and ellagic acid. I consider ellagic acid not needed, so you have to obtain tannic acid then from green tea or tannic acid in itself. The carbohydrate of mucilage can be from ginger, parsley, flaxseed, fenugreek and others.

Ted, thank you for your reply. Should I put aloe vera, Cr, Mg, Se, green tea and one of the mucilagic plants together at the same time And how much should I use of each of them
Thanks,
Elif"
11/17/2011: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Yes you can use all of them at once. Chromium is ideally 1000 mcg to 2000 mcg, selenium 200 mcg to 400 mcg, tannic acid 100 mg and ellagic acid of about 100 mg should be fine. Ginger, parsley, flaxseed, and fenugreek can be any amount that is palatable.
