Xylitol Be Used for Gum and Tooth Care

Since Xylitol is good for your teeth, could you dilute some in a glass of water and swish it for gum/tooth care Thansk- JohnnyB

Xylitol is an alcohol sugar which is quite toxic to most cavity-causing organisms in the mouth and at effective doses, studies have shown that it works twice better than dangerous fluoridated toothpastes. Therefore, you can use this to swish around your mouth for anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes to kill the organisms. It at least helped with my toothaches on several occasions. Ted
