You can apply a phenylalanine solution to the area and then get exposed to UV. You cannot do it without phenylalanine. B12 seems to help. Hypochlorydia (low stomach acid) and thyroid issues are the common cause, correcting them with betaine HCl with meals and thyroid extract seems to help.

There is a guy on Youtube curing his vitiligo with a few cheap supplements. His name is Erick Barrios. Look him up. Also, I accidentally ran across an article or two connecting vitiligo with a nickel allergy. If you have every worn nickel containing earrings and your earlobes pus, then you know you have a nickel allergy. Tattoos will also cause the nickel allergy to flare and possibly cause vitiligo. There is a theory out there that H202 is "shot out" during an immune response by the body and the excess H202 kills the melanocytes. If you don't believe me, look it up.Replied by Lou (Tyler, Tx) on 09/08/2020
As a follow up to my previous comment, it might be a good idea to avoid nickel containing foods.
